Mr. Khaled Osaily, a prominent figure in the Palestinian business community, assumed the esteemed role of Minister of National Economy from April 2019 to April 2024. In conjunction with this pivotal position, he holds the chairmanship of both the Palestinian Investment Promotion and Industrial Estate Agency (IPIEA) and the Palestine Standards Institute (PSI).
With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration obtained in 1970, Mr. Osaily is recognized as a trailblazer in the private sector, renowned for his visionary leadership and track record of successful endeavors. His career trajectory began in 1976 when he was elected as the youngest member of Hebron’s Municipal Council, subsequently serving as Deputy Mayor until 2003.
Throughout his esteemed career, Mr. Osaily has held influential roles on the Board of Directors of prestigious entities such as the Gaza Power Generating Company (GPGC). Furthermore, he currently holds the esteemed position of Vice Chairman of the Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC), where he oversees a diversified portfolio of investment entities.
A pivotal figure in the establishment of major business groups in Palestine, Mr. Osaily co-founded and became a shareholder of the Paltel Group in 1994, subsequently serving as a member of its Board of Directors. Additionally, in 1995, he played a key role in the inception of the Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC), where he served as Vice Chairman until his appointment as Minister of National Economy. His extensive involvement in the public sector is further highlighted by his board memberships in various public sector authorities, showcasing his dedication to serving the broader community.
Mr. Osaily’s entrepreneurial acumen is evidenced by his founding and chairmanship of prominent organizations such as the Osaily General Trading and Contracting Company and the National Aluminum and Profile Company (NAPCO). He is also one of the founders of the Palestinian Businessmen Association and the Arab American Chamber of Commerce in Palestine, demonstrating his commitment to fostering economic development and promoting business interests in the region. His commitment to public service is underscored by his tenure as Mayor of Hebron from April 2007 to October 2012, during which he spearheaded transformative initiatives within Hebron Municipality.
Mr. Zuhair Osaily, an esteemed leader within the Osaily Group, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Amman in 1997. His professional journey commenced with rigorous training programs, including sessions with Philip Morris-Egypt on “Sales & Distribution” and “Banking & Investment” with CAB Bank-Jordan.
In September 1998, Mr. Osaily embarked on his career as a Brand Manager at Unipal General Trading Company, a subsidiary of the Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC) and a distributor of renowned brands such as PM, P&G, and Kraft. In this role, he demonstrated expertise in developing and executing market strategies, managing logistics, and overseeing monthly and yearly budgets.
After that, in the year 2000, Mr. Osaily assumed the position of Sales and Marketing Manager at The Medical Supplies and Services (MSS), another APIC subsidiary. Here, he played a pivotal role in crafting market strategies, monitoring operational forecasts, and formulating pricing strategies across various business lines.
Furthermore, in 2004, Mr. Osaily’s leadership abilities led to his appointment as CEO of the Arab Palestinian Shopping Centers Company, overseeing Plaza shopping centers, Bravo supermarkets, and Jungle kids play areas. Under his guidance, the company flourished, thanks to his hands-on approach and strategic insights that positively impacted both company performance and the local economy.
In 2011, Mr. Osaily expanded the Osaily Group’s footprint by establishing Excellence Trading & Contracting, a distributor of reputable brands such as SONY, SIEMENS, and CONSTRUCA, where he assumed the role of CEO. Additionally, in 2015, he founded Integrated Health and Safety, a leading supplier of essential products to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), where he currently serves as Chairman of the Board and Managing Director.
Throughout his career, Mr. Osaily has continually pursued professional development through training courses with multinational corporations such as BDF-Nivea, Philip Morris, and Procter and Gamble (P&G). These experiences have honed his skills and equipped him with the expertise necessary to navigate the dynamic business landscape effectively.
Mr. Shadi Osaily, a distinguished member of the Osaily Group, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the New York Institute of Technology, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and professional development.
Mr. Osaily’s career journey commenced with notable roles at Siniora Jordan, where he served as a Sales Supervisor, demonstrating his adeptness in managing sales operations and driving revenue growth. His exceptional performance led to his promotion as the Direct Sales Manager at Siniora Palestine, where he further honed his leadership skills and strategic acumen.
In recognition of his exemplary track record and leadership potential, Mr. Osaily assumed the position of Sales and Marketing Director at the National Aluminum and Profile Company (NAPCO). In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in formulating and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, contributing to the company’s sustained growth and market expansion.
Since 2016, Mr. Osaily has served as the Managing Director of Ocell Technology and Electronics, a subsidiary of the Osaily Group. In this role, he has leveraged his extensive experience and expertise to lead the company’s operations, drive innovation, and spearhead strategic initiatives to position Ocell as a leader in the business solutions, electronics, and online sales sectors.
Mr. Osaily’s dynamic leadership style, coupled with his visionary approach and unwavering dedication to excellence, has been instrumental in driving Ocell’s success and solidifying its reputation as a trusted provider of cutting-edge technology solutions.
